Seattle (Nov. 7, 2023) — The Museum of Pop Culture (MoPOP), a fantastic mix of music, sci-fi, video games, fantasy and pop culture, is now part of the Seattle C3® by CityPASS® ticketing program. C3 tickets cover prepaid admission to three top Seattle attractions and are designed for shorter-stay visitors to the Emerald City. They are also sister tickets to the original Seattle CityPASS® program, which launched in 1997 as the United States’ first-ever bundled attraction ticket.

Whether it’s through your favorite albums, sci-fi and fantasy films, indie video games, or binge-watching that one TV show (again), pop culture is at the heart of our lives and for many of us, our identities. MoPOP takes visitors behind the scenes of their favorite fandoms through immersive exhibitions and stunning artifacts — from Nirvana to horror and everything in between.

Among the Frank Gehry-designed museum’s many highlights are Jimi Hendrix’s Fender Stratocaster electric guitar, which he played at the 1969 Woodstock Music & Art Fair; a proton pack from the 1989 film Ghostbusters II; an interactive spacecraft in the Infinite Worlds of Science Fiction exhibition; the Sound Lab, where visitors can explore the tools of rock ‘n’ roll through electric guitars, drums, mixing consoles and more; and costume pieces from such music legends as Elton John, Stevie Nicks, Janis Joplin, Run-DMC, Bono and Patsy Cline.

Seattle C3 and Seattle CityPASS tickets bundle deeply discounted admission to the destination’s top attractions into one easy-to-use mobile ticket. Seattle C3 tickets retail for $89 for adults and $69 for children, ages 5-12. Seattle CityPASS tickets cost $119 for adults and $89 for children, ages 5-12. The tickets save travelers up to 30% and 47%, respectively, off the cost of purchasing individual admissions to the included attractions. Once activated, which occurs when the first admission is scanned at the first attraction visited, tickets are valid for nine consecutive days, including the first day of use.

The current Seattle C3 program covers prepaid entry to any combination of any three of the following:

  • Space Needle
  • Seattle Aquarium
  • Argosy Cruises Harbor Tour
  • Museum of Pop Culture (MoPOP)
  • Chihuly Garden and Glass
  • Woodland Park Zoo
  • The Museum of Flight

Tickets can be ordered online at CityPASS.com, arriving moments later via email, or through the My CityPASS app, which can be downloaded for free from the Apple App Store and/or Google Play or accessed from any web browser.
